Activities

Hiking and being part of nature is one of the main activities you can do at the Clifty Falls State Park. There are many hikes here with varying levels of difficulty, such as the 4-mile hiking challenge, making it a great fit for both moderate hikers and families with young children. For your information, the park is dedicated to protecting bats, so avoid going to the Clifty Falls Railroad Tunnel in November through April.

Beautiful Trails, Views, and Sights

Our first visit here. Beautiful trails, views, and sights. Stayed late one night for a tour guided "A night under the stars" star gazing for constellations and the stories behind them. Great way to spend some family time. Will definitely be back.

Trails offered good views of the falls

Very cool. Paved/blacktop trail to one of the nearest falls (imo) that is very close to the parking lot. The other trails we went on are very rugged, lots of roots and rocks, and very steep in some places, but the steepest parts had very well maintained wooden steps and railings. Trails offered good views of the falls. Will definitely be going again.

It was peaceful, and serene

It was peaceful, and serene. There were several hiking trails with varying levels of difficulty
Many places were accessible by car, if the walk was too difficult. The staff at the Inn were great !! The river views were gorgeous.
